More devices QuickQ covers: desktops, phones, tablets, routers

Beyond laptops and phones, the QuickQ client reaches tablets, Android TV boxes and whole home networks through a router. Each device type and its caveats are listed here, compiled August 17, 2026.

Find your device type

Work out which group your device is in, then choose how to connect it.

Desktops and laptops

The Windows and macOS builds are the most complete, with per-app rules and manual route choice.

Phones

The Android and iOS builds are pared back around one-press connect — the right fit for something in your pocket.

Tablets

Install the phone build for that system; the layout expands to use the larger screen.

TVs and boxes

Some Android TV systems accept the Android build, with the remote used to press connect.

Through a router

Configure supported router firmware once and every device on that network follows the optimised route.

Work computers

Company machines usually carry management policies, so check with your IT team before installing.

Advice for running several devices

Spread them sensibly and the experience stays steadier.

Keep the regulars

Leave the two or three you use daily signed in, and drop borrowed devices from the list afterwards.

One entry for the house

With several people at home, a router setup is far less trouble than installing on every device.

Weak signal

Where mobile coverage wobbles, switch to picking a low-latency route by hand.
