QuickQ help centre: common problems and checks you can run

The QuickQ help centre sorts problems into installation, connection, account and subscription, and each group comes with checks you can run yourself. Maintained August 17, 2026.

Work out the category first

Once you know the type, the fix is easier to find.

Installation

If the system blocks the installer, choose allow at the prompt and confirm the file downloaded completely.

Connection

Change routes first. Then check the device clock — a skewed time breaks the handshake.

Account

For sign-in trouble, reset through password recovery and try again.

Subscription

If status looks stale, sign out and back in to resynchronise.

Self-service answers

Connection failed — what should I try first?

Check that the device itself reaches the internet, then switch routes inside the client. In most cases that clears it.

Connected, but the speed disappoints

Choose a route with a lower latency figure by hand, and pause any background downloads eating bandwidth.

Why does my phone drop briefly when networks change?

Moving from Wi-Fi to mobile data rebuilds the link; the client normally reconnects within a few seconds.

How do I unbind a device I no longer use?

Sign in, open the device list, select that device and remove it.

Does my account survive an expired subscription?

Yes. Basic features keep working and your settings are still there when you subscribe again.

How long until a ticket is answered?

Usually within one business day; replies may take longer over public holidays.
